Communications Strategy
Titilayo Obileye is a Technical Assistant to the present new Governor of Ekiti State on Communications Strategy and Content Creation. She studied Communications and Language Arts at the Department of Linguistics, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti. She was later certified by the West African Broadcast and Media Academy on Information Research/Fact Checking and in Leadership, Management and Innovation from the African Learning Institute.
Obileye who also has a degree in Accounting have proven herself to be a stellar Multimedia Journalist after multiple local and international trainings, certification and awards. She received the Journalist of the Year 2022 award at the International Youth Diplomacy Award, University of Ghana Business School, Accra Ghana for her reportage on Promoting Youth Participation for Sustainable Development in Climate Change.
She is a onetime Tedx speaker and an advocates for Climate Justice, and was recently shortlisted by the United Nations Framework for Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC) to cover the 2022 edition of the Annual Conference of Parties on Climate Change (COP27) in Egypt after several Climate Change Publications in national newspapers.
She serves as a member of the Advisory Board in many regional, national and international developmental Organizations. Her most recent onboarding at the International Community for Education Technology where she was added to one of the Microsoft Teams to oversee its communications activities in Educating and certifying public and private schools and teachers in the use of technology in classrooms, West African Region.
She was recently recognized and awarded by Dr. John Kayode Fayemi former Governor of Ekiti State as the first nonindigenous Ekiti State Outstanding Young Person for her distinguished achievement in Government Policy Communications. Titilayo joined Government as an intern in tge Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor at 22 and have since then risen to be Technical Assistant and Senior Technical Assistant on Communications and Strategy during the JKF 2 Administration.
