ICEDT is sincerely committed to protecting the privacy of our members and event attendees, as well as all others who visit our website in search of more education technology training, resources and information. This Privacy Policy applies between you, the member, event attendee and ICEDT. We want you to feel safe in knowing that your privacy is protected and your personal data is processed in a transparent manner because we take the privacy of your information very seriously. Basic Personal Details: When you register for a conference or as a user, we collect your contact information such as your first name, last name, email and telephone number which can be used for communication with you in accordance with the applicable laws. We can also implement various third-party log-in systems, such as Facebook and Google login, that allow you to provide some of your personal details directly from the third-party service.

Website activity: We collect data about your browsing activity on our website.

Device and browser information: We collect information relating to your devices, other technical information about the device or browser you use to access our website.

Financial Data: We collect credit card details and other payment account information. This information is needed to ensure we can process your payment. We also use third party payment processors who will request, and process details related to your chosen payment method. This information will be processed directly by the third party and we will not store that data. When you make a purchase, we will also ask you for your name, email address, telephone number and street address.  

Account Data: If you sign up for an online account, we will collect your username, a password and your email address. These are the minimum fields necessary to open and access your account.

Customer Service Data: We collect information you provide to customer service, including survey responses.

Event data: We collects location-based data about onsite attendee engagement as well as attendee content selection and favorites in the event mobile app.

Transactions Data: We collect information of your purchases, downloads, the content you have provided us with, your requests, agreements between you and 21CTIC, the services provided to you and other interactions with us.

Other Data: We may also collect non-personal data such as other information we collect that does not enable you to be identified. We may collect your IP address, access times, browser or application type, what pages you have visited and the sites linked from. However, in some cases, non-personal data can be stored together with your personal data in such a way that the non-personal data could be considered to be personal data as well and we process it in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

We constantly want to improve our services so that you get the most value from them at all times. We always want to identify the best mobility option for you as we continue to innovate our services, collecting this data enables us to develop, improve and manage our services by better understanding our customers. Periodically, we request contact and other personal information in order to fulfill transactions, such as membership, the purchase of goods or services, registration for events or to respond to requests for information. By sharing your payment details with us you consent to the transfer of such details to the location of our payment providers so that they can process your payment. These third parties can also collect data from you, which they will process in accordance with their own processes and privacy policies since we utilize them to provide payment and related administration services. We reserve the right to share certain membership information with qualified third-party vendors for offerings we determine to be of interest to our participants and members. If you'd rather not receive those offers, you can ask to be removed from any or all lists not directly related to our events and membership services by contacting our list manager at [email protected].

We may provide products and services using resources and servers located in various countries around the world. In that case, your personal data may be transferred across international borders outside the country where you use our services. We also share your Personal Information in limited circumstances within our community, our service providers and advertisers, and other end users, in order to provide improved ways of working in our organization. Apart from Hosting Providers and Payment Providers, we may disclose your personal data to third parties only if:

1. You have given us your express consent for doing so. The disclosure is reasonably necessary to provide you with the services.

2. Whenever we use third-party consultants, we will impose contractual commitments on them to comply with this Privacy Policy since the disclosure is reasonably necessary for us to be able to enforce our Terms of Service and for the purposes of detecting and preventing fraud or security breaches, and in accordance with applicable law.
