Maxwell Olurotimi James, a graduate of the University of Benin, also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from Uthman DanFodio University, Sokoto and a Master's in Education Administration and Planning from Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
His teaching career started almost 3 decades ago and transcend basic and secondary education in both the public and private sector. Olurotimi a Microsoft Innovative Educator is at the forefront of facilitating entrenching frontier technology in education. The winner of several awards including FCT Best Teacher 2011, Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE) Advisor of the year; 2009, amongst others.
He has worked with students to develop some of the most outstanding projects on the SAGE and Child and Youths Finance International (CYFI) platforms. Maxwell is a British Council certified core skill trainer and a California State University, Chico certified entrepreneurship (Turning Risk into Success) master trainer. Maxwell is very passionate about promoting the use of technology in teaching and learning.
Maxwell is a widely traveled author and advocates for teacher's empowerment. As a lifelong learner, he enjoys collaborating with colleagues in promoting workplace readiness skills in schools. Maxwell who rose from being a peer leader to become a sought after mentor enjoys speaking at workshops and webinars for teachers and students.
